This is an exercise for advanced pedal harpists to practice their glissandis and pedals.
Two pages. With explanations and fingerings.

Compared to other instruments, the harp is sooo different that this seems super complicated… actually this kind of thing isn’t complicated to play (although it needs some practicing to have an equal sound). But it’s complicated to write down! So what am I doing here ?

🐠I’m always doing the same movement with my hands (downward gliss with left hand, upward gliss with right hand).

🐠 I’m moving my feet (pedals) to change the harmonies. The pedals on the harp DO NOT have the same function than on a piano.

🐠 arrival and starting notes are not so important: what is important is to keep a steady rhythm and change the pedals at the right moment (beginning of bar, or on specific beats.)

I tried to make this as clear as possible in the video. I originally published this on Instagram and Tik Tok:

Beware of blisters!! Don't practice this for more than 5 minutes at a time.
