Fanny Power by O’Carolan – for lever or pedal harp

Original price was: CHF5.00.Current price is: CHF4.00.

This is a harp arrangement of the composition Fanny Power by Turlough O’Carolan. It is inspired by the version of harpist Andrea Piazza.

I used to listen to a tape in my mother’s car when I was a kid. It was a harp concert by Andrea Piazza. I still have all the melodies in my head even if I don’t remember the titles. One of the pieces was “Fanny Power” by Turlough O’Carolan, that I rediscovered a few years ago with one of my students, who brought it to the lesson. I decided to write my own arrangement of Fanny Power, with some inspiration by the Andrea Piazza version. Have fun with this arrangement!

Turlough O’Carolan was a blind irish harper who traveled this country and played for his hosts. He composed pieces for them to honor them and thank them for heir hospitality.
